BEST MEMORY
"Ah ha, I know what I'm meant to say here, but I don't think I'm going to. I'm not going to mention his name, because I don't think he will have mentioned mine. If he has? Well, then, I was wrong and should have written a long page all about how much I adore that sweet little thing, shouldn't I? No, I can't do that now, I've already started. My best memory doesn't involve him, only a little bit. I had been waiting for the letter for such a long time, I needed to get in here if I wanted to actually do something with my life. So, when it came I was more than a tad excited, I was genuinely over the moon and I couldn't wait to start. Yes, that was a shit description, but that's because that's not where this story ends. My first day, God, it was amazing. I spent almost all of my time in the studio's, I'd never had access to a proper dance studio before and now that I did I wasn't going to miss a second of it. When I'd done there, it took me more than half an hour to catch my breath, and stop my muscles trembling. I loved it and still do."
WORST MEMORY
"My life's not been that bad at all, really, I'm not like the other people here, the ones that lives have had some major drama or some crazy twist. My life's been pretty straight forward, I've always known what I wanted to do with my life, be a dancer. I've always known that I was gay. I've always known that this was how my life would be and I've never even considered that anything bad would happen with my life. So what's my worst memory? I don't really know, but I can try and think of something for you. Homophobia? Hey! That's a bad thing. My worst memory is my realisation that not everybody would support my decisions in life, that there would still be some arseholes that think that being gay is some crime against humanity and should be banned. Yeah, let's go with that..."
OVERALL PERSONALITY
sweet.
honestly? you'll never meet anybody as eager to please you as gabe, he's so full of love that it just seems to overflow into all of the people around him. he'll always smile at you, even on a bad day, and start up a conversation with you. whether he likes you or not, he has a desire to be nice to you and will beat himself up about it, if he's not. with being sweet there are quite a few downsides, people will walk all over you and use you for everything they can, and gabe knows that and chooses to ignore it. he's fully aware that when you ask to borrow money, you probably won't give it back, but he'll lend you it anyway, because he doesn't want people to look down on him. as much as he'd hate to admit it, everything he does is governed by the fact that he needs to be thought of highly by others, and this personality trait is just one of the many that are dictated by this fact.
determined.
gabriel knew from a young age that he wanted to be a dancer and worked day and night on his moves until he was good enough to get in here. he was determined that he wouldn't be pushed under and into the crowds and it came as no surprise when he finally got given a place. this can be put into place in many of the things that gabe does, whether it be completing a piece of coursework or mastering that dance move, he won't stop until he's done it and will even have trouble sleeping until it's done. of course, this determination is only applicable in the things that he wants to do. if he doesn't want to do something, the likelihood of his determination flourishing is very slim.
distracted.
yeah, i know, this is slightly contradictory but it's true. gabe may be very determined, but he's also extremely easily distracted. he may set his little heart on finishing that essay or scribbling those notes down so that they're more easily legible, but that doesn't neccessarily mean that he won't get distracted on the way. i mean, who wouldn't choose snuggling up in bed with james over writing an essay? who wouldn't choose going to a party over completing that report on the history of dance? nobody that's who.
social.
good god, this boy can talk for england. he's always talking, or looking for somebody to talk to and once he's started he just can't stop. he's a very social person and wouldn't last more than five minutes on his own without going crazy. this boy's schedule is hectic and he knows it. he has trouble fitting in all of the things he has to do, along with his busy schedule. he doesn't want to have to stop seeing his friends just because there's something important coming up, so he'll work around it or just not do it. either way, his social life comes first. watch out though, because gabe's never been all that organised, so he may have planned two things at once and be forced to pull out of one.
advising.
gabriel likes giving advice, there's no doubt about that. he spends alot of his time listening to peoples problems and coming up with solutions to them. of course, he can't solve everyone's problems and when he cant, he'll kick himself for days afterwards claiming he's a bad friend. maybe this whole advice thing leads back to his need to be in control, by telling people what they should do to solve their problems he can have a teensy little bit more control over his own life, and theirs.
hopeless romantic.
it's no secret that gabriel can be quite the romantic. he'll skip classes to cook james food, run out and buy him presents just for the heck of it and he'll be the first to be whispering sweet things into his ears. he really does love to make that boy happy, he goes out of his way to make him so. he'll drop plans just like that, so that the pair can cuddle up together, or something of the sort. he'll ignore the little mood swings that james goes through, because it's him and he's allowed to be irritated whenever he goshdarn likes.
but also a whore.
but on the other hand, gabe just can't help himself. he can't stop himself from tasting the forbidden and he does so quite often. he doesn't want to hurt james, he doesn't want to sleep around, it just happens. he can't help but flirt with that pretty boy from the bar or smile seductively at the cashier in his favourite clothes shop. admittedly, he's subtle about his whorishness but that's still not much of an excuse. he does feel bad after doing something he knows he shouldn't have, and he regrets it for an age afterwards, but he'd rather keep it to himself than blab to james for fear of losing him.
a bit of a prick.
gabe's gotten into the habit of being a little bit nasty to certain people. one of those certain people just so happens to be the person he loves. he's nice alot of the time, don't get me wrong, but on ocassion he'll snap for no reason and slip into a foul mood for no reason at all. it's bound to cause some tension between the pair, what with james having the same kind of issue, but gabe just hopes that the pair can get through it.
dominant.
gabriel feels the need to control every single aspect of his life, and that includes those that are in it. he needs to be in control of everything, especially james. it's just something that he has to do, he needs to know that james loves him and isn't afraid to make certain of that fact. admittedly, gabe can be a little bit possessive, but wouldn't you be too? it's no secret that gabe can get particularly dominant under the covers; never one to submit, our gabriel.

OVERALL HISTORY
Clayton and Eloise had been friends since their birth, they'd attended the same dance class, the same school and the same church, they'd practically been betrothed since they were fetouses and it came as no surprise when they married early in their lives. Now Mr. and Mrs. Huntley there was really nothing more for them to conquer together, was there? Well, that's what you might think, but you'd most definitely be wrong. Since that day, they clambered mountain after mountain with each other. Their first being the establishment of the Eloise Huntley Academy of Dance and the last of those being creating little old Gabriel. El was still young at the time and hadn't wanted to stop dancing through her pregnancy. However, when at 5 months she nearly lost her child through an accident, she resigned for a short time, allowing Clay to take over her classes and teach her pupils to the best standard he possibly could.
It shocked people when only 6 weeks after her childs birth, El was back dancing, her son watching from the sidelines sat on an adoring grandmother's knee. So it was that Gabriel was introduced into the world of dance, every night for the first two years of his life. It was then that he turned the right age to join a class, the babies class was admittedly not the strictest of lessons, teaching very little, but it was no doubt a lesson which many babies took part in. Gabriel flew through lessons, up until his sixth birthday when he had rapidly become the top in the class. His school life suffered dramatically because of this, nobody wanted to hang around with the boy dancer, did they? Well, Gabe didn't really care all that much. It was also at this age that his detestation for girls began to rise to the surface, chasing boys around rather than girls like the rest of them. This only added to the stigma which was already upon his head.
It would be another 7 years, when Gabe was thirteen, before he came out to his parents as gay. They weren't too thrilled, their favourite, Christian son, was gay? It didn't really wash all that well and so they began to search for a school for him that would lead him on straight and narrow. Of course, that was alot harder than you would think, especially seeing as they didn't want to let their son know of their plans. It was then that they stumbled across Blackberry Lake and immediately snapped up the chance. They sent their son to the audition as soon as possible and were more than a little thrilled when he was accepted, no questions asked.
Gabe's parents certainly hadn't been expecting their son to find someone who was more than accepting of his sexuality whilst he was there and when they found out they were very close to disowning their son. However, they obviously couldn't do such a thing to their darling, not when he might be famous some day. Gabriel met James one day when he was exploring the school, slipping into other lessons with a big old smile on his face, slipping into his lessons unnoticed. Gabriel knew immediately that he had to get to know this beautiful boy. So, Gabe being the talkative person he is, he did so. He smiled at him in the hall and attempted to catch his attention every opportunity he got after that. He was falling for James and for once he didn't care at all. He wanted to embrace the fact and when he revealed it to James he was more than a little bit happy to find that James was accepting of the fact too. They weren't official, not yet, that took some time to happen, but when it did? Gabe couldn't be happier, and he made it clear to everybody.
Of course, happiness can only last so long for everyone, and Gabriel's happiness came tumbling down roughly two months after he and James first got together. James left him, after finding out that he had slept with another man whilst they were together. Gabriel was devestated, he spent around a month moping and refusing to go to any lessons before James finally forgave him and took him back. Now? Gabriel's just praying that he doesn't screw up once again, he needs this boy and he'd like to think that this boy needs him, but he's not so sure.[/ul]
SHININ' WITH THE GLEAM CHAIN
AND YOUR HONEY GIVIN' ME BRAIN, YOU CAN CATCH ME WATCHIN' AI
It wasn't until Willow planted himself on the stool that he had come to class as his own that he noticed a distinct lack of Rio. His eyes did a quick scan of the path that he had taken and upon not seeing him made the quick decision that he had been stopped, again. Another smirk flew to his lips, at that moment Rio was being held back by one of the weakest fucks that Willow had ever had. He wasn't entirely sure why he found that so amusing, but he did. The smirk didn't fade from his lips as he began to swing those long, thin legs back and forth gently. He knew the drill that Rio would be going through outside only too well, the questions wouldn't last long and if they did then perhaps Willow could pry himself away from the bar for a few moments to pull the wallet from his brothers hands. Just because Rio wasn't enjoying himself didn't mean that Willow shouldn't, right? He knew, of course, that if he wanted to, he could probably convince the bouncer, who's name slipped his mind, to let Rio in. But hey! He wasn't in the mood, so he wouldn't.
His hands gripped the bar that ran along the bar between his fingers and he leant back. His eyes floated up to the ceiling, fixing on the small circular lights there, which he could only presume were meant to look like stars. They didn't, but who was he to rain on their parade? His eyes went from the not-so-starry lights to the tacky orange sofa's that lined the walls of the club. The people plastered to these sofa's were of little interest to him. None of them stood out as particularly stunning and those that did were stunning in a sort of 'I'm a no-sex before marriage' kind of way, their skirts were knee length or their trousers were as baggy as was possible without losing the elegance of a real trouser. He let out a slightly heavy sigh before sitting up straight once again on the bar stool. The bar staff? Well, they weren't that bad he supposed, they had a somewhat charming look about them, the kind that told Willow that they were much further below him on the social ladder. He liked that, knowing that he was better than them, was it a bad thing to think? Probably, but he didn't care. He could live with thinking bad thoughts, but at that precise moment, he needed something to do, in any sense of the word.
Willow was bored of waiting, he was tired of being sat there alone with nobody to flirt with and nobody to buy him a drink, the latter was more pressing on his mind at that moment. He ran his tongue over the roof of his own mouth in an attempt to repress the need that was swiftly taking over his mind. That was when he saw Rio, heading towards him and turned to the bar, gesturing towards an employee to come over. He couldn't wait that long for Rio to come back, and as the member of staff reached him he smiled widely showing his white teeth in all their glory. "I think I would like a Jacks, please." He spoke clearly, in case his request was a little too difficult to understand, you could never tell with these people.
Willow's eyes turned back to follow the figure that was ever so familiar to him, waiting a little impatiently for him to get to him. When he did, he held his hand out, expecting Rio to know exactly what he wanted. "I haven't gotten you anything, I presumed you would wish to choose." Willow wouldn't have known what to get his brother anyway, he wasn't really much like him at all. Willow always presumed that Rio would like something weaker than he would ask for, and when Willow did ask for that drink it would always be drunk with a look of displeasure. It wasn't that Willow minded this look, more the fact that he it annoyed him when Rio acted as though he had no taste. Willow stretched as the drink was placed in front of him and he looked back, expectantly, at Rio. "Well? Pay the man." He snapped slightly.
